7 Piece Limoges Berry Bowl Set with VIOLETS & GOLD

Item Description: STUNNING! A RARE set for the VIOLET lovers...they don't come prettier OR MORE WELL DONE! There are the most masterfully painted violets on each piece. The artist also added raised (3-D) enameling to the pistils for added dimension and the enameling just makes the violets "pop" out. I have never seen violets painted better. This set is signed on the bottom of the master bowl by the talented artist "P.Beecher". It is part of a large set, so you might look for the other matching pieces by searching BEECHER here on the web site. This is an exquisite set with the master bowl and 6 berry bowls. All have heavily gilded scalloped edges.
The set consists of the large master bowl marked Lewis Straus & Sons Limoges Mark 1, which dates 1890 to mid 1920's. And 6 berry bowls marked Bassett Austria Limoges Mark 1, which dates from the late 1800's to 1917.

Condition: Excellent
Note: one small seating base chip on a berry bowl, this does not detract from value or stability. Nor is it noticible to the eye. I note it for accuracy only.
