Item Description: This is an exquisite and rare antique T&V Limoges porcelain trivet with a large spray of purple and white violets! (note the colors are actually deeper than my pictures captured)

This trivets were made to protect the table top from the heat of a chocolate or tea pot. Therefore, the porcelain is very thick and weighs heavy.
The edge of the is heavily gilded. The gild is 99% intact.
The Tressemann and Vogt Limoges France Mark 10 on the trivet dates it 1892 to 1907.
