Item Description: This is an elegant antique handpainted Pickard 2-handled Charger with encrusted gold.
Note the hearts in the design.
This would be perfect for Valentines Day or a wedding.
The heavy gild covers the entire front and back except for inside the backside seating ring. The gilding is intact. There are some minor use marks (none through to the porcelain) and a few spots (see close-up picture).
It is marked with the Tressemann and Vogt Limoges France Mark 10 and the Handpainted Pickard Mark 7. This dates this beauty 1912 to 1918.
