Item Description: COLORFUL beauty!!! This is a wonderful antique Victorian Limoges charger with hand painted strawberries and blossoms!!!
Look at the artistic detail in the berries,flowers foliage and beautiful array of background colors! There is hand painted raised enameling added to blossoms for artistic dimension.
It is signed on the front by the artist, "Milford".
The exquisite original mold features raised detail near the scalloped edges.
These areas are gracefully gilded. The gilding shows a bit of light normal age wear, but it only adds to this piece.
It is marked with Haviland Limoges France Mark 12, which dates it 1894 to 1931.
