Item Description: This is an absolutely stunning piece!
An antique T&V Limoges porcelain hand painted handled tray featuring a gorgeous display of seashells and sea life… the artistry is masterful and detailed.
The artist also added delicate raised hand painted enameling to the shells for added artistic dimension. This dimensional effect makes the shells “pop” to life.
It may be signed by the artist on the front, but I couldn’t make out more than an “M”.
The original mold is a beauty itself with raised detail, scalloped edges and an elegant handle.
The elegant handle and scalloped edges are gilded. The gild shows only very light wear.
It is marked with the Tressemann and Vogt Limoges France Mark and a patent date "Dec. 22 1896.

Size: approx. 10 1/4" x 8" at widest

Condition: EXCELLENT ORIGINAL, no chips or cracks.
