Item Description: STUNNING! RARE Famous Artist Signed Scenic GAME BIRDS Charger. This is a STUNNING Limoges porcelain plaque (charger) with a beautiful sunset scene and 2 mated game birds!
It is signed by one of the very few famous Limoges factory approved artist's "Bronssillion".
It features detailed gild work as well as a heavily gilded edge. The original mold has scalloped edges and detail work near the edge.It has 4 factory drilled holes in the back for hanging. The makers mark is Coronet (George Borgfeldt) Limoges France. This dates this beauty 1906 to 1920. Gaston's Encyclopedia of Limoges features a similar one on page 80. The value is $400.00 to $500.00!!!
