Item Description: RARE! This is a beautiful hand painted antique ring holder of thin and delicate Limoges porcelain. It has a cascade of Violets around the base. The violets are enhanced with raised enameling for artistic diminsion. The background color is white.
The scalloped edges and ruffled "sleeve" are gilded and the gilding is 99% intact.
It is signed by the artist, "E. M.P.".
The original mold has raised detail near the scalloped edges. The fingers on the hand are made to hold rings!
It is marked Tressemann and Vogt Limoges France on the bottom. This mark dates it 1892 to 1907.


Size: 4 3/4" long x 2 1/2" tall.
