Item Description: This is a fabulous antique Limoges porcelain display plate featuring a fish in a body of water with reeds and water lily pads.
It is signed on the front by the factory approved artist "Tharaud". The artist is one of the few noted artists in Limoges reference books. He is know for painting fish for the L.S.& S. Limoges Company.
The original mold has raised detail under the heavily gilded edge. The gilding is intact! It is double
marked with the Coiffe Mark and the Lewis Straus and Sons Limoges Mark (L.S.& S.). This mark dates 1891 to 1920's.

Condition: EXCELLENT, no chips or cracks. Light wear on the one Lily pad
