Item Description: This is a stunning Limoges handled petit fours tray. The artistry of the pink roses and foliage is masterfully painted by the artist in an array of pastel colors. It is marked with the Tressemannn and Vogt mark and a patent date "Dec. 22, 1896"! The original mold is a rare and beautiful one that features raised edge detail, scalloped edges and an elegant handle. The handle edges are gilded. The gild shows only light normal age wear that speaks of the true antiquity of this piece.
