Item Description: YUMMY!!!!
This is a RARE gorgeous antique W.G. and Co. Limoges handled candy tray with ripe CHERRIES.
It is signed on the back by the talented artist, "Elsie L. Robinson".
It has a beautiful hand painted gilded finial with a flower on it and raised floral detail at either end of the Victorian dish's original mold.
It is marked with the William Guerin mark which dates it 1891 to 1932.
Mary Gaston's "Collector's Encyclopedia of Limoges" valued these trays at $275.00 to $325.00 (pg 142&143) in the year 2000.
